About The Artist

Brittany Trinite

Brittany Trinité is a musician and in training to become a board certified music therapist (MT-BC). She attended Southwestern University for her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Music and graduated in 2011. She has pursued independent study to fulfill supplemental coursework for music therapy certification and enjoys researching music therapy's relation to behavior, physical and emotional pain management, and how music works in the brain in general. Brittany produces and performs in shows, such as "Drag me to the Opera", her variety show in collaboration with the Austin International Drag Foundation. She enjoys swimming, hiking, fantasy stories, and writing. Brittany hopes to one day contribute to Alzheimer's research.

The purpose of "Sing Me a Favor" is to raise funds in support of my singing experience with Red River Lyric Opera, vocal studies, and graduate studies in music therapy. With a donation of $10 or more, donors have the option to request to have a recording for a purpose made, or under special circumstances, have a musical selection delivered in person either anonymously or from them to another. The musical piece can be an original, a cover, or created by me! I will send recordings or drafts to the donor via email before completing the request. Requests can include anything from arias, folk songs, and popular covers to submissions for original pieces to be created, drinking songs, or the request to sing your shopping list! Donors may also contribute to the campaign without requesting a musical piece.

Red River Lyric Opera Tuition: $1800

Scholarship: -$800

Total Needed: $1000
